Vinod Khanna Passed Away At 70 After Battling With Cancer! May His Soul Rest In Peace!

Vinod Khanna, the favorite actor of millions of movie buffs, passed away this morning. Yes, there were reports that the actor was battling cancer; doctors tried their best but treatments didn’t work.

Earlier, a photo of him had gone viral and people were shocked to see him in such a weak condition; however, his family had stated that he was admitted in the hospital due to severe dehydration.

The news of his death has shocked everyone!

He had given many hits in 1970s and 1980s like Lahu Ke Do Rang, Amar Akbar Anthony, Jurm, Dayavaan, Qurbani, Imtihaan, Mera Gaon Mera Desh, Mere Apne and many more.

Later, in the year 1997, the actor joined politics and became the BJP MP of Gurdaspur. There’s no denying the fact that he had made our child awesome with his brilliant acting.

Bollywood actor Vinod Khanna at last lost his battle against the disease of cancer, leaving his fans and family in a mourning state. He was one of those few Hindi movie actors who started their career as villains and went to play the lead roles. He was considered as one of the most handsome actors that the Hindi film industry ever had. As an actor, he had given many memorable performances and won 2 Filmfare awards.

He was also a politician and had been an MP for BJP 4 times from Gurdaspur. Khanna had also handled 2 ministries in the Vajpayee government. He was suffering from advanced bladder carcinoma (bladder cancer) and took his last breath on 27th April, 2017, at 11.20 am. As per a hospital source, “Doctors and family were expecting a recovery but somehow his condition escalated and he succumbed today afternoon.” Vinod Khanna was admitted to Sir H.N. Reliance Foundation Hospital in the first week of April because of severe dehydration and his condition was reported to be improving but later on, it started deteriorating.

Well, the star cricketer Ravindra Jadeja has finally revealed why Virat Kohli was laughing so hard before the IPL match on April 18th in Rajkot. The photo that became a part of all the memes showed Virat pointing fingers at Jadeja and sharing a laugh with Gujarat Lion’s pacer Praveen Kumar.

In an interview with website Quint, Jadeja said,

“The picture was taken right before the match with RCB, where Virat started calling me ‘Rajput’. He has nicknamed me that and I feel super proud when he addresses me with that name. Virat and I are like brothers and these fun conversations are a part of our relationship. Everyone in the dressing room looked the same, so I thought let’s try something different. Something that is unique. Once Anil Kumble walked up to me when I was sitting with my face down. He thought I was KL Rahul and started speaking in Kannada. Beards have created a lot of confusion in the team.”

If we remember, Jadeja was the first one to be a part of the #BreakTheBeard trend and he posted the photo of his transformation on Twitter and Instagram.

He wrote on Twitter: “Change the game on the field. Change the look in the dressing room”.

Virat and Jadeja will face each other once again on Thursday. Gujarat Lions V/S Royal Challengers Bangalore match will be held at M. Chinnaswamy Stadium.

Delhi University, AMU, IIT-Delhi Websites Are Hacked! Hacker Writes “Pakistan Zindabad”

The universities – Delhi University, Aligarh Muslim University and the Indian Institute of Technology-Delhi (IIT-Delhi) are hacked today and the there are messages all over the website.
The messages are pro-Kashmir and are spread by a group who call themselves ‘PHC’.

The messages on the website read, “Greetings Government of India, and the people of India. Do you know what your so-called heroes (soldiers) are doing in Kashmir? Do you know they are killing many innocent people in Kashmir?”

“Pakistan Zindabad,” is the footer note in a fluorescent green is displayed. There are two videos at the bottom that show the armymen’s brutalities in Kashmir and people’s protest over their brutal behavior.

There were more messages which were shocking. Here’s what was written, “Do you know they have raped many girls? Do you know they still are raping girls in Kashmir? How would you feel if your brother, sister, father and mother gets killed? How would you feel if someone rapes your mother or sister? Won’t your life and your families be destroyed?”

The hackers had their clear intentions and they mentioned that they have no other motives than to make their message reach Indian Government.Here’s what they wrote, “This hack is in response to Code-Man’s hack of railways.gov.pk (http://www.zone-h.org/mirror/id/29230257?zh=1) and in the solidarity of innocent Kashmiri people being killed by the Indian Army. Thank you, Regards – PHC”

The websites of the central universities are managed by National Informatics Centre run by the State.

Kapil Sharma’s show is surely having worst of the time and we have to admit that it is better for the show to end with a little good reputation it has than continue with no respect.

The series of bad news continued for Kapil Sharma, first Kapil’s fight with Sunil and then the Sony Channel’s contract renewal based on the conditions for Kapil Sharma and then the latest accusations of plagiarism. Troubles are all in favor of the show.

Now the ultimate bad news is here. The Kapil Sharma Show will go off air very soon. The show’s contract will not be renewed anymore as reported by leading daily.

As revealed by the leading daily DNA,

“Sony, the channel that airs the show, is in no mood to renew their contract with the comedian-actor which means it is the end of the road for The Kapil Sharma Show.”

“The makers are definitely not ready to pay Rs 107 crore for a show which is getting them nothing. Kapil might negotiate but the channel heads are shocked. Either Kapil has to get back Sunil and Ali, else his show stands scrapped. The latter is most likely to happen because Grover and Asgar are not ready to budge from their stand.”

We had already reported that Sunil Grover has confirmed that he has not yet signed any new show with Sony Channel.

“They are planning to invest in Sunil now for a different show altogether. Ever since the fight happened, even rival channel Colors (who have a long standing issue with Kapil) has approached Sunil for a show but he has not signed anything. Sony has rights to his characters — Rinku bhabhi and Dr. Mashoor Gulati— and they also earn a chunk of money from his live shows where he performs in his avatars. So they might have a show with these characters.”

As of now, we cannot confirm Sunil Grover until and unless there’s an official announcement on the same.

MTV Roadies Rising Journey: Love is in the air for Roadies!

Today in MTV Roadies Rising the episode starts with the ruling gang bossing all the other contestants. The scroll which always carried the news about the tasks commanded all the warriors to be ready for what’s next. It said there will be a task among all the other gangs who lost the race to become the ruling gang. Today’s task was related to the culture of Jhansi and had a history linked with Tatya Tope. The task was called Teen tikada kaam bigada. Just like Tatya Tope rescues the queen, the contestants will be asked to rescue the girls in their gang.

Since Nikhil, Neha and Princes’s gang lost the previous task, they had to participle Since the task was related to the war, all the contestants were feeling like the Warriors.

The ruling gang had to decide who will step into the battle field and who’s strength, intelligence and luck were to be tested. Because Rannvijay got blamed to choose Prince’s gang yesterday, today he gave Neha the option to guide him to make the right decision for her gang. Neha’s gang chose strength and wanted to test it in the task. Nikhil’s gang opted for intelligence but Rannvijay gave him luck and thus Prince got intelligence.

Neha went first with the task. Her task was to get her team tested on strength. A girl from her team was tied up on the port and one more member would be involved in rescuing her. Shane was in charge of rescuing the girl in distress Rakhi. He got stuck just a few inches below the plank where Rakhi was standing. Gaylen, the host blew the whistle and his time to rescue Rakhi came to an end after he failed to get the rope to help Rakhi in place.

After testing Neha’s gang’s strength, it was time to test Prince’s gang’s intelligence. Meenal was put up on a plank this time. Wasir was given a puzzle to put the gears in the right place. Prince helped Wasir to align all the gears. After he got all of them in the right place, he started rotating them but they kept getting stuck. Finally, after all the odds, he successfully placed the ladder in front of Meenal. But his attempt to climb the ladder were unsuccessful for a long time. After struggling for long, he successfully managed to reach Meenal and get her down from the plank. 

When Nikhil’s gang started, Khushnuma was the one who stood there on the plank. It was time to get the luck tested. Priyank was given a bunch of ropes to select the one with which Khushnuma was tied. After browsing just a few ropes he found the one which he was looking for. He started to climb the ladder up to reach Khushnuma. Nikhil guided Priyank to climb the ladder sideways to make it easy for him. After Priyank reached Kushnuma, he unlocked her and came down the ladder. As soon as Khushnuma’ feet touched the ground Nikhil’s gang knew that they have won this task.

When Gaylen announced the results, she disqualified Neha’s team for leaving the task unfinished. Neha got infuriated with her team members for selecting their strength to be tested. She said she knew her gang should not test for strength and had a gut feeling that she would lose the task. Nikhil’s gang was once again announced as the winner. His gang was given partial immunity and the warriors cheered and hugged each other in joy.

After going back to the tent, all the Warriors enjoyed a bonfire at night. Sitting around the fire, they played truth or dare. All the warriors got interested in knowing each other’s flings. They tried their best to know if Aggy and Meenal were having an affair. But instead of Aggy, Shane came up front and told Meenal that he too has a crush on her.

MTV Roadies Rising: Rannvijay’s gang becomes the first ruling gang; politics starts!

In the last episode of MTV Roadies Rising we saw that this season has brought in a new twist for the contestants. Instead of staying in lavish hotels, the roadies have to survive in tents instead. The reactions of Roadies to this shocking revelation was a must see. Thy were shocked to see that they will have to use a common toilets and all they were concerned about was their poop. On the other hand, the camp for the ruling gang had all the amenities like personal toilets, beds, mirrors and everything else. The morning came where the fight for the ruling gang was supposed to happen. The warriors had a fight over the use of the toilets and they couldn’t stop laughing at the situation they welcomed themselves in.

The task which was given to the teams to become the ruling gang was called Conquer the Qila. Out of the 4 gangs which belonged to Rannvijay Singha, Prince Narula, Neha Dhupia and Nikhil Chinappa, only Nikhil and Rannvijay’s gang performed. From each gang 4 warriors were supposed to perform in the task. The first warrior was supposed to aim with a bow and an arrow , the second and the third one were supposed to lift the 50 kg window hiding the target and the fourth warrior was supposed to lift the archer above, on a see saw. A time limit of ten minutes was allotted to finish the task.

Nikhil Chinappa and Rannvijay were asked to set their aim at the target with the bow and an arrow to get an advantage. Whoever wins, gets to choose who goes first for the task. Nikhil aimed perfectly and his arrow hit very close to the centre of the target. He won and asked Rannvijay’s gang to go first.

Samyukta and Shane lifted 50 kg window and Samar kept aiming for the target. Samyukta kept losing her energy and was not able to lift the window properly for Samar to hit. After missing lots of shots, Samar managed to hit the first arrow. Then the second and the third one went smoothly. Overall Rannvijay’s gang managed to get 6 arrows on the target.

For Nikhil’s gang to become the ruling gang, they had to hit 7 arrows. From Nikhil’s gang, Prabjot held the weight of the window. Rahul aimed and missed the few first shots. Nikhil kept guiding Rahul and asked him to follow tricks of archery. Then after lots of failed attempts, Rannvijay guided them about the right way to aim. His arrow hit the target and the gang cheered for him.  Nikhil’s gang lost the game even after trying their best. Rannvijay’s gang became the first ruling gang of Roadies Rising. 

The ruling gang was gifted with Roadies jackets. The gangs now had to plan the vote out. The gangs teamed up to corner some of the members. Prince was shocked to know that his gang members and the other gangs who had a chance to be voted out, didn’t make an effort to get themselves saved. Neha was furious that her gang members didn’t appeal to the ruling gang to save them.

Before the vote out, the ruling gang got a power to either vote with the other warriors or to wait for their votes to be revealed and vote after that. Rannvijay’s gang chose to vote after they knew the results of other gang’s vote. Neha’s gang was not even co-ordinated in the vote out. They were fine with people voting out Gurpreet and it made Neha furious. Varun and Gurpreet got targeted in the vote out. Gurpreet was the most popular choice.

When the time for the ruling gang to announce their verdict arrived, Prince and Neha began to appeal them to save their respective gang members. Before the vote was cast, Rannvijay reminded his gang that Prince is like his brother and he cares a lot for him. He openly asked his people to vote out Gurpreet. After Gurpreet got voted out, Neha tried to cheer her up by saying that she was the life of the party till the time it lasted.

Karan Kundra feels fiction shows are tiring and static:

Popular TV actor Karan Kundra feels doing reality shows are as hectic as featuring in daily soaps, but the latter is even more taxing.The “Kitni Mohabbat Hai” star has juggled both fiction and reality shows in his career. When asked if hosting a reality show is a better option today, Karan disagreed.”No. It’s not like being just there. It’s a good mix of both. I know the time and the kind of hours that you have to give in for fiction is much more. It becomes very tiring and becomes very static. Reality (show) is a lot of fun, that’s true, but it’s equally hectic,” Karan told PTI.

The 31-year-old actor will be again seen in the latest season of MTV “Roadies” and feels both the genres in TV reality shows and fiction are doing well.”Both are doing pretty well. Last year I did fiction and now again I m back on Roadies. So I think you have to find your audience. If you find your audience and if you nail it then I don’t think it’s a problem in any good zone to be in.”

MTV Roadies host Rannvijay Singhaa and his wife Priyanka Singha were recently blessed with a princess. The TV host embarked on his journey as father and is delighted with the arrival of a new member in his family. Ranvijay and Priyanka tied the knot in a private ceremony and a year later the couple welcomed their daughter. The actor didn’t share any detail about his daughter since birth making fans curious about what Rannvijay’s baby girl would look like.

While the TV host is yet to share a picture of his little bundle of joy, Rannvijay shares her name on social media. In his Instagram profile, Rannvijay says, “Kainaat says thankyou to everyone for all the good wishes and blessings! #satnamwaheguru #babysingha” 

MTV Roadies Rising: See who survives the culling and makes it to the journey?

MTV Roadies Rising is all set to begin it’s journey from April 8, 2017. The contestants are selected and have put up a pretty amazing fight to earn a spot on the deadliest ever season of MTV Roadies. The gang leaders Rannvijay Singha, Prince Narula, Neha Dhupia and Karan Kundra  have put the candidates they selected, through a screening process to select the best few to accompany them in this journey and be their warriors. Those googly candidates which Harbhajan Singh  selected got a privilege and were directly chosen for the journey. He has so far chosen 7 members and has saved the last and the best googly for Rannvijay Singh.

He gives 3 options to Rannvijay Singh. The three worst candidates, who got rejected by Rannvijay, to choose from. Ashima, Veerpal and Samta. Rannvijay gives them a reality check and tells them that they were never his first choice and have to prove themselves to get selected. Harbhajan Singh then once again turns the ball around and selects Veerpal for Rannvijay’s gang.

When Harbhajan signs off from the show, Karan Kundra announces that he has to leave the show and now Nikhil Chinappa will take over his gang. The gangs give him a teary-eyed goodbye and the other gang leaders welcomes Nikhil for this journey.

The gang leaders put their selected candidates through a culling round where they grill them with tasks and select the best warriors. Prince decides some show off rounds for his candidates, Rannvijay asked his candidates to go through a ballet tutorial to get selected. A dance face-off happened for Karan’s final selection.

MTV Roadies Rising journey Day 1: Gangs get mixed up; Nikhil Chinappa’s gang wins the first task!

MTV Roadies Rising journey kick-started today. The gang leaders Rannvijay Singha, Prince Narula, Neha Dhupia and Nikhil Chinappa made a bang on entry. When they entered the arena, they saw masks on their warriors and it seems like a great setup to begin the war. The gang leaders had a new challenge in front of them as they had to identify their warriors behind the masks. They had to use their brains and wit to identify their gang members. They also got warned about the repercussions of identifying some other gang’s warrior as one of their own.

As the task started, the gang leaders were shocked to see the provided clues. The guessing game was very creatively curated and the gang leaders had to make a guess according to the memories of each warriors. Nikhil identified the male dancing feet, Neha guessed the jersey number. Rannvijay guessed a gang member from the beaches of Goa. Prince chose Mr. India for himself and lots more. After many right and wrong guesses, the final results were announced. for the masks got revealed.

Prince made the most number of wrong guesses and this hampered the tasks which were held in Jahangir palace later on. It was a tough time for the gang leaders. As the task gets announced and the teams got divided into two groups; one with the rightly selected members and other with the wrong selections. Now there is a new twist making way for the challenge. The winner of the challenge will become the ruling gang and the members will get immunity from eliminations. The game started and the correctly guessed gang members had to fill a pipe with water from a pond using buckets. The team 2 had to stop them from successfully filling the pipes.

Rannvijay’s gang performed first and Divya got disqualified. Nikhil’s warriors performed very well in coordination with gang leader’s instructions. Nikhil and Neha had an argument when Prabjot leaned against the barricades and it proved to be an advantage for them. 4 members performed for Nikhil’s team and he was clearly having an upper hand at the game.

The performance of Neha’s gang was very disappointing.  When Prince’s gang performed, Shane injured other warriors leading to his disqualification. Nikhil’s gang won the game and he thanked Karan Kundra for selecting such awesome performers. Before the episode came to an end, a new twist was announced. The gangs will not have to stay in tents instead of the lavish five star hotels. Let’s see how they perform when they will be deprived of the luxury.

Bangladeshi Bowler Gives 92 Runs In Just 4 Balls & The Team Lost Match Within An Over:

Cricket is a very popular game so even if a person is not an avid follower or fan of cricket, he/she will still have some basic knowledge about the game. For example, almost everybody must be aware of the fact that every over has six legal deliveries and the maximum runs that can be scored by a batsman in an over is 36, for which he needs to hit six consecutive sixers which has happened in the past but very rarely.

More than 36 runs can be scored in an over only if the bowler continues to bowl extras (wides and no balls) but that can’t be more than 2 or 3. However, a Bangladeshi bowler did something which is next to impossible.

On Tuesday, two clubs ‘Axiom’ and ‘Lalmatia’ were facing each other in the ‘Dhaka Second Division Cricket League’ which was being played at City Club Cricket Ground. Lalmatia club batted first and was all out for 88 runs in 14 overs (50 overs match) and you would be shocked to know that Axiom club played only 4 deliveries to win the match.

Sujon Mahmud, Lalmatia’s opening bowler, took away the opportunity of scoring runs from the batsmen of Axiom by giving away 92 runs in just 4 balls. Yes, we are not kidding, 65 wide runs came from 13 wide balls, 15 runs came from 3 no balls while remaining 12 runs were scored on the 4 legal deliveries.

The umpiring has become a controversial matter in this tournament and just a day ago, on Monday, Tasnim Hasan, bowler of Fear Fighters Sporting Club, gave away 69 runs in just 7 legal deliveries in order to show anger against the bad umpiring.

This may be a way to express their protest but is it true to the spirit of the game? The organizers should look into the matter of umpiring if such incidents are taking place.

Just for your knowledge, maximum 77 runs have been given away in an over in the first class match and it happened in 1990. The bowler was Robert Vance who was playing for Wellington against Canterbury.

Sleeping is something that is very soothing to our eyes, apparently, we don’t even need to blink for it. The life of a student and an employee can be very much similar in a way if they are sleep deprived. The teacher or the boss can be an arse to him if he has fallen short of a ‘good night’ sleep. Taking naps during office hours is indeed an irritating sight for many bosses. This is quite normal.

But what if we tell you that there is a CEO who pays his employees to sleep. Don’t you want to run away with your pillow just so as to work under him? I presume the answer is YES. It’s the CEO of Aetna company and his name is Mark Bertolini. In an interview given to CNBC, according to him, sleep is really important. “Being present in the workplace and making better decisions has a lot to do with our business fundamentals.” he said.

According to him, a person can’t be well prepared if he is half asleep. He supports his argument of ‘better sleep can lead to bigger profits’ through a series of statistics and numbers. In order to earn bigger profits via this ‘good night sleep’ scheme, he promises his employees to pay them extra money. Wondering the rates? Have a look at it.

If a person can get 20 nights of sleep for seven hours or more in a row, he will be given $25 for a night and up to $500 for a year. According to a report submitted by McKinsey, out of 196 business leaders who were subjected to sleep survey, 47% of the respondents say that their organizations expect them to be too responsive to emails and phone calls. Around 43% claim that they don’t get enough sleep at least four nights a week. Nearly 6 out of 10 claims that they don’t sleep enough at least three nights a week.

When such a CEO takes a special effort to lay stress on the importance of a good night sleep, it indeed changes people’s perception and the cultural delusion that most businesses have been operating under. In order to keep a track on their program, the company has collaborated with the Duke University to study the effectiveness of the firm’s wellness program, which includes better sleep information, yoga, and meditation.

At last, it’s about investing in your employees so that they can come up with better returns in form of better performances. If they perform better, then their hard work will definitely show up in the company’s revenue charts.
